Shaun Trevor Wawryk
It is with great sorrow the family of Shaun Trevor Wawryk announce his unexpected passing in Prince Albert, SK a few days ago at the age of 51.
Shaun spent the majority of his childhood growing up in Prince Albert, graduating from St. Mary High School in 1988. He dabbled in a few post-secondary pursuits before settling on trucking as a career choice. While Shaun loved fishing, hunting and Pepsi slushes, his heart was devoted to his four nieces, two nephews and his beloved dog Bear. Shaun had a unique sense of humour and a very distinctive laugh, which in turn brought more laughter. His brain came equipped with its own built-in calculator, which made him a great card partner or a challenging opponent. If you needed an honest opinion, Shaun was the guy who would provide it, sometimes even when it was not solicited.
Shaun will be dearly missed by his parents, Errol and Eileen; his sister Monica (Robin) and nephews Evan and Eric; his sister Dione and nieces Akiva, Bretlyn (Chad) – Bently and Emery, Blaze (Shawn), and Chay; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Due to pandemic restrictions, and the family’s wish to keep everyone safe, you are welcome to join them online for a Celebration of Shaun’s Life at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Services will be live streamed and videotaped. If you wish to view the service, the live stream link is www.grays.ca/memorial-videos/.
In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations in Shaun’s memory may be made to the Charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, (306) 922-4729.
