SOCHASKI - Roman was born February 6, 1933 in Dana, SK and passed away April 13, 2007 at the age of 74 years. Anything that Roman did, he did well and with pride. Roman will be sadly missed by his loving spouse Jelene; his children Norman (Beverlee), Linda (Wayne), Brenda and Brian; Annie the mother of his children; Jelene's children Lee (Susanne) and Karen (René); ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters; two brothers; six sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Roman was predeceased by his parents; one sister; five brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law and his father and mother-in-law. In lieu of other tributes, memorial contributions may be made to the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation or to the charity of choice. Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Gray's Funeral Chapel, Tuesday, April 17, 2007, with Deacon Greg Elder officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 260 25th Street East, with Celebrant Reverend Father Matthew Nguyen officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Canora with his parents. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, Drew Gray, Funeral Director.
