My condolences to Ken's Family. I remember Ken as a gentle giant from days gone by at the Northern Institute of Technology (now SK Poly Tech). His smile and laughter and "large" presence (Ken was a very tall, friendly man) lit up the room.

I am sorry to hear of my cousin Ken’s passing. Having left Prince Albert, I wasn’t able to visit him much in the last 10 years. I have fond memories of times together and laughs shared with Ken. To me he was always a big loveable guy.

I am saddened to learn of the passing of a great friend and colleague. Ken was a very special guy who loved his students and committed his life to helping them achieve their dreams and goals. He was iconic at Natonum College and SIAST as an institutional leader, really caring for and mentoring other staff members. Visiting his lab was always a learning experience...and he could fix pretty much anything electronic! He knew how to have fun, and how to make the rest of us have fun too! Rest well my friend!

Our lives crossed path with Ken in several different ways. It began as myself ( Lynn) being a student of his when he taught Radio and TV Electronics repair. We then became tenants of Ken, and later purchased our very first home in Prince Albert from him. He was indeed a true gentlemen, and will be remembered with great fondness.

We were so saddened to hear of Uncle Ken's passing. It was always interesting to hear his stories about our family in loving and sometimes hilarious ways. Our greatest memories of the man who didn't seem to know the words, that's impossible, are related to The "Arner Lake" Cabin. We were fortunate to have bought the cabin from him when he no longer felt he could maintain it. Uncle Ken taught us so much over the years in the ways of living in the remote area he had loved so much. We hope we did you proud Uncle Ken and we miss you.
