Obituary of William Kosowan

April 6, 1925 ~ May 1, 2020 Kosowan, William (Bill) Prince Albert, formally of Strong Pine, SK It’s with great sadness we announce Bill’s sudden passing on Friday, May 1, 2020. Bill was born on the family farm at Strong Pine to his parents, Dmytro and Polly Kosowan on April 6, 1925. Bill celebrated his 95th birthday on April 6, 2020 very quietly at home. He is survived by his loving wife Anne of 62 years; three sons and six grandchildren, Calvin (Lori) grandsons Levi (Renee), Tanner and Corbin; Randy (Debbie), grandson Eric; Craig (Karen), grandchildren Jared and Erin; brother Nick (Frances); and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Dmytro and Polly Kosowan; brother John; sister Mary and her husband Alex Stanowich; infant sister Helen; nephews Bob Stanowich and Harry (Nancy) Bedry. Bill and Anne farmed until retiring to the City of Prince Albert in 1999. Bill’s passion in life was his family and farming, especially harvest time. He enjoyed ice fishing, watching TV, gameshows with Steve Harvey, playing card games with friends and family as well as checkers with his grandchildren. We, the family will remember his hard work and honesty. No more pain and suffering. Rest in Peace Dad. Private family services will be held. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, National Office, 55 St Clair Avenue West, Suite 500, Toronto, ON M4V 2Y7.
