My thoughts and prayers are with Jean's family, Arnold, Lori, Rayleen, Trudy, her grandchildren and siblings at this sad time. Jean and I were "young/new" managers at Holy Family Hospital in the late 1970's and Sister Frances Rooney provided the opportunity for us to attend management workshops together. We became good friends and although 30 years has passed since we worked together, and visits with Jean were infrequent since I left Prince Albert , Jean has remained a very special person in my life. A wonderful nurse, colleague to many at Holy Family Hospital. She also made the best lasagna I have ever tasted! I will always remember her with great fondness and respect, and with gratitude for having Jean in my life. May she rest in peace. Laura Hughes, (Sisters of Charity, I.C.) Saint John, NB

Condolences and prayers to Jean’s family. We worked together for many years with PBCN Health. Jean was a great nurse, hard worker, and very kind. She was also great fun with a good sense of humour. She had style. I will cherish the beautiful star blanket she gave me years ago. Ekosi, Manitou Kasawethimikowaw.
