Obituary of Victoria Louise Sklar

Victoria Louise Sklar

August 13, 1945 - July 8, 2021

Age 75 years

In Loving Memory of my sister Louise.

We are heartbroken to announce that Louise never fully recovered from the impaired driver caused accident on November 10, 2019. Sadly, after the last 22 days that she spent in hospital she lost her battle with Covid. She was fully vaccinated.

My sister loved her dogs Duke & Dutchie, red poppies, drinking Pepsi, going to Casinos and also her white Ford Taurus.

She worked many jobs in her lifetime, Mortifee Munshaw in Calgary for a couple years. She then took a job that lasted 28 plus years at the Dairy in PA before it closed. Off she went to Saskatoon and worked at Mitchells Meats for a few years, then back to PA where she spent the last 18 plus years working at the 711 on 15th Avenue.  She was a people person and enjoyed all her jobs and the many friends & acquaintances she made along the way...

Louise was predeceased by our parents Michael and Anna Sklar and our Aunty Pauline Slonski who raised us.

Louise is survived by my family Harry and I (Beatrice) Drader, our children, grandsons and great-grandchildren.   She was my only little sister, best friend & I miss her a lot.  Louise will also be missed by uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends too many to mention. We had a private Last Rights Service and we hope to plan a Memorial Service at a future date.

In lieu of other tributes, donations in Louise’s memory may be made to the Cancer Clinic, 20 Campus Drive, Saskatoon, SK  S7N 4H4.  Condolences may be sent to the family at  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, (306) 922-4729.
