Mary Lou Bruce

March 29, 1935 ~ August 22, 2021

 

With saddened hearts we, the family of Mary Lou Bruce, announce her passing on August 21, 2021 in Prince Albert, SK at the Victoria Hospital.

 

The youngest of five children, Mary Lou was born on March 29, 1935 in Estevan, SK.  Her early years were spent on the farm. 

 

Mary Lou married Raymond Bruce in February of 1957.  They resided in Prince Albert and were blessed with their son, Donald.

 

Mary Lou was a great cook and baker, especially her home-made bread.  She was a very skilled knitter; many sweaters, scarfs and mittens were made and donated. 

 

Left to mourn her passing is husband Ray; son Don (Doreen); grandchildren and great grandchildren:  Kim (Brad) Yelland and Matthew, Taylor, Ryinn; Katherina (Cory Lavigne) and Avery; Donna (Mitch) Herzog and Ashtyn; many nieces and nephews.

 

Mary Lou was predeceased by her parents Eugene and Helen; brothers Norman and Gene; sisters Olive and Marjorie; niece Penny; parents-in-law Wilfred and Bernadette Bruce; sisters-in-law Violet and Gladys.

 

Thank you to all the doctors and nurses for the care given to Mary Lou. 

 

Private Family Graveside Service will be held.  Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
