Dorothy May Hook

April 6, 1930 - April 11, 2022

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Dorothy May Hook announce her passing on April 11th, 2022.  She passed away peacefully in her sleep, in comfort, at Mont St. Joseph Nursing Home.

She is lovingly remembered for her dedication to family and friends. She gave tireless service in the Prince Albert Chapter#16 Order of the Eastern Star.

She was an avid gardener and spent countless hours tending both to the produce and flowers, which she always shared.

No one who graced her home ever went hungry or without a place to lay their head.

Dorothy is lovingly remembered by her children: Joan Ens (Louie) and their children Mark Ens (June), Cindy Gailey (Rob); Norman Hook and his children Terri Brunning (Rob), Ron Hook (Wendy); Cheryl McCullough (Ed) and their children Shannon Russell, Brandon McCullough (Linette); siblings: Gert Lennox and Ken Hill (Grace); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, many relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Ron Hook; parents, Christine and James Hill; brothers: Donald, George, Bill, Bob, Harold and Gerald; sisters, Marj and Phyllis; daughter-in-law, Karen Hook; and granddaughter, Shelly Zawada.

The family would like to thank Mont St. Joseph Nursing Home for their compassionate care of our loved one.

In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations may be made to the Shrine Transportation Fund, 2065 Hamiton Street, Regina, SK S4P 2E1 .

There will be no Funeral Service held as per family wishes due to Covid. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, (306) 922-4729.
