Angelique “Anne” Bird

June 28, 1956 ~ May 1, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of Anne Bird announce her passing on May 1, 2022  in Edmonton, AB.

Anne loved to listen to MBC every morning, she also loved her beadwork.

Anne leaves to mourn her children:  Adrienne Smulan and family, Dale Prutton and family Silas, Justin, Gabriel and Baby Dale, Trent Masuskapeo (Augustine Sundown) and family Saul, Emett, Isaac and Erroll, Harley Masuskapeo and family Kyle Masuskapeo; granddaughter, Mikayla Charles; sister, Priscilla Bird; companion, Edmund Boyd; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Anne was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, John and Betsy Bird; mother, Grace McKenzie (Bird); stepfather, Isaac W. McKenzie; daughter, Ashlea Prutton; brother, Bobby Bird.

Wake Services will commence on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.  Both Services will be held at the Kitsaki Hall, LaRonge, SK.  Interment will be held at LaRonge Band Cemetery.   Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray's Funeral Chapel, (306) 922-4729.
