Obituary of William Tom Evaniuk

William “Bill” Evaniuk

January 31, 1931 – July 16, 2022

On Saturday July 16, 2022, William passed away peacefully at Mont St. Joseph Care Home at the age of 91 years. Bill was born in Shipman, SK to John and Nettie Evaniuk and grew up on the family farm. He later moved to Prince Albert, SK where he worked at Burns Food Ltd.

In 1970, Bill married the love of his life, Anne Brenner. They purchased and moved to their farm in the Whitfield District north of Prince Albert in 1973. Bill retired from farming in 2018 and spent his last years at the Columbian centre and lived at Mont St. Joseph Care Home until his passing.

Bill was predeceased by his parents John and Nettie Evaniuk; his wife of 24 years, Anne; his sisters: Jean Planechot, Ann Biberon (Shutko), Mary Gola; special friend Dorothy Halberson. Bill is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill requested no funeral service. A private family Graveside Service will be held at South Hill Cemetery on August 26, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Mont St. Joseph Care Home, 777 28 Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 6R1.
