My sincere condolences to all the Bell family in the loss of your beautiful Mom.
I have many fond memories of both Lew and Dolores from when I coached Tanya many years ago on the Carlton Basketball Team. They were both very supportive and positive parents as they cheered on Tanya and the girls on the court in the many games we played. I always enjoyed my interactions with them over the years. I always thought of the Bell Family in years to come when we used some of the Cotton Pickers music when teaching Social Dance in PED class. Many of my Carlton students learned to Barn Dance, Polka and Old Time Waltz etc. thanks to those great tunes.
What a wonderful and full life lived by your Mom. May you keep all those treasured memories ever close to your hearts. With Sympathy and understanding.

I met Delores for the first time when my best friend Holly and her fiancé Darius took me to the family acreage to clean his bus. I adored her from that day! Delores had such a positive, uplifting personality. Later, I was fortunate to be invited to attend the Arts Hall of Fame Award event in 2016 representing the musical group, “The Cotton Pickers”. Her smile and easy going attitude will forever be remembered.
May her loving memories bring everlasting peace and comfort to those she so touched.

I had the pleasure of helping to raise
Darius, Jan and Tanya. That small cabin at Bell’s Beach was your first home and you were so loved by your parents!
I travelled on the bus with you while filming the TV shows in Yorktown and to dances at the Manhattan Ball Room..

My family had a cabin at Bell’s Beach in the 60’s and I remember Delores very well from the little store and the Big Dipper. She always had a beautiful smile and greeting no matter where you met her. Cherish your wonderful memories
