“Gordie” Jacob Henderson was born on November 8, 1947, in Prince Albert, SK, and passed away on July 12, 2023, in Saskatoon, SK, at the age of 75 years.

Gordie is survived by, his one son, Tyson Henderson; his one brother, Jimmy Henderson; his first cousin, Thomas Ballantyne; his two sisters, Helen Henderson, and Fanny Henderson; his three grandchildren, Ethan Henderson, Kelly Rae Henderson, and Ava; his special granddaughter, Lisa Henderson; his special nephews, Dean Henderson, Nathan Nelson, Joe Nelson, Delbert Bird, Cory Naytowhow, Marcian Henderson, and Edward Henderson; Numerous nieces & nephews; his special friends, Calvin Naytowhow, Simpson Naytowhow, Christopher Smith, Mark Grosse, and Bonnie Henderson; his in-law, Val Bird; his God daughter, Carol Naytowhow.

Gordie was predeceased by, his daughter, Andrea Henderson; his parents, Hector & Angelique Henderson; his brothers, Albert (Ida) Henderson, Edward Ballantyne, Henry Henderson, Thomas Henderson, Christopher Henderson, Oliver Henderson, Ernest Henderson & Peter Henderson; his grandparents, Jacob (Elaine) Henderson, and McIntyre (Caroline) Ballantye.

His Family Prayer Service was held at 8:00 p.m., July 12th, 2023, at Gordie Henderson’s residence in Montreal Lake, SK. His Viewing will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, Prince Albert, SK. His Wake Service will be at 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 13, 2023, and 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 14, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Anglican Church, in Montreal Lake, SK. Gordie’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 15, 2023, St Joseph’s Anglican Church, in Montreal Lake, SK, with Bishop Adam Halkett and Reverend Harry Halkett officiating.
