When I think back to having Arabelle as my student in grade 3, I remember a lovely, sensitive, kind girl with a soft voice and sweet, gentle smile. I loved that Arabelle and I shared the same enjoyment for creating art. I also remember the love shown by her Grandma Val who was a special person in her life, celebrating her every success and supporting her every challenge with that same smile and proud heart. Dear Val, my deepest sympathy goes out to you and all those who were enveloped by the love of beautiful Arabelle, and who loved her deeply in return. Arabelle's radiant life was a masterpiece painted with vibrant shades of kindness, warmth and intelligence. Her adventurous spirit spread delight, her thoughtfulness lightened hearts while her interesting insights nourished minds. There are no words to truly express my heartfelt condolences to you Val, and all your family on the passing of Arabelle. I never met Arabelle, but felt I knew her through our chats at work as we kept up to date on Arabelle and Jai-Li's busy lives. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

My daughter, Gabby, spent a lot of time with Arabelle, especially in grades 7, 8 & 9. I remember her sleeping over many times at our house. She was always sweet, soft spoken and kind. She had a beautiful smile and I send my deepest condolences to the family during this unimaginable time.

My favourite memory of Arabelle is when her, Billie and Allie Desroches would drive by my house everytime they were out driving around and yell “REEEESSEEE” Arabelle would always be the loudest and literally seconds after I heard her I’d get a video of it..
