1942 – 2023

Leona Elizabeth Anderson passed away in Prince Albert, SK on August 12, 2023 at the age of 81.

Leona is survived by her son, Darwin (Koraley); her granddaughters, Tia (Chris), Alexandria, and Alyssa; her great grandson, Zachary; her siblings, Velma, Rachel, Mary, Linda Lou, Eva and Edwin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Len Anderson; her siblings, Alvina, Murphy, John George, and Richard; her parents, Noah Morahn and Rose Buffalo.

The Wake Service will commence on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.  Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2023.  Both services will be held at the Wahpeton Hall, Wahpeton Dakota Nation, SK.  Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Prince Albert, SK
